Cryptocoryne from Sri Lanka, eg: beckettii, lucens, parva, walkeri, wendtii, etc...
Hi all,
Does anyone know of any plants that can stand a somewhat high PH of 8? The only ones I know of are Java Ferns and I would like to know if there are other plants suitable for a high PH tank.
With regards to floating plants like water lettuce and duck weed, can they stand a high PH as well?
Would appreciate some help in these matters. Thanks!

I think vallis can stand high pH too.
Some chap came up with this Plant Search Engine.
He made use of Topica plant data. Maybe can try ...

Juggler's tanks
Thanks all and especially Juggler! That plant search engine is amazing! It evens allows to double click on the results to get info on the plant right away! Haha thanks for finding this gem and sharing with me.
Now I will have to figure out what those latin names means and where to get these plants from. Thanks again!
Oh yah...how about making that "plant search engine" a sticky tread in this forum? How do we do that?
