FLORENCE, capital of the region of Tuscany, has a population of around half a million inhabitants, spreads on the banks of the Arno, between the Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian seas, almost in the middle of the Italian peninsula. It is a city which bustles with industry and craft, commerce and culture, art and science.

    More pics as promised.

The oto that phang gave me is about 2.5 cm long.

Here is another close up. I never realise that there are so many sharp spikes at the tip.

This is the whole head, but look at it's nostrils!

Same oto, but seems to be smiling at you!

    Finally, presenting the full oto!!

    Happy looking (hopefully) oto.

Thank you for all your compliments.

The credit however, must go to Dovii. He was the one that recommended the camera and given me tips on how to take these pictures.

The camera is a Canon D60. Sorry I didn't post details earlier as I was trying to find the link. More details about this camera at www.dpreview.com. But the site is too cheem for me.

Here is another picture of a pair of Clown Killifish which I hope to use as my Avatar.

Woah, no wonder! Canon D60 is not a toy, it's a digital SLR! I am sure it must have been fitted with one of those 100mm macro lens for such shots. Beautiful pics! BTW - what else are you using it for with this high-end camera?

Yes...yes..I can't wait also. Everybody got tanks except me. So miserable.

Anyway, here is a picture of the pufferfish that you gave me.

I think he is so adorable dancing around the tank.
