    Hi......
i heard that yamato shrimp is not suitable if u r planting raccia . It is true ? Btw, 3/4 of my 2ft tank is planted with raccia on the bottom.
Where can i get 100 yamatos beside NA ? My tank is almost ready for shrimps.

nope. dun think that theory is true. i have yamato shrimps in a tank with lots of riccia b4. no problem at all. btw... shops seldom sell yamato by the 100.. that will cost a lot... think you might be referring to malayans? if so, keong seong and ah pek at Lor Halus has them too.

once the algae is all eaten, they will go for yr plants... 50 for a 2ft is way too many.. nevertheless, u can order from Ben at tiong bahru.. think if u getting more, u can ask for a discount

When I had riccia with yamatos, as they plucked the algae of the riccia, they dislodged the riccia, spending them to the surface leaf by leaf.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

I think petmart is a pretty good place to get Yamatos and Malayans.

    Yamatos 20 for $12
    Malayan 100 for $10

I gots 20 Yamatos a couple of weeks ago and they've done a really good job cleaning up my hairgrass and B.japonica.

so cheap! so they're not malayans?
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.
