    Hi,

I'm staying in Sin Ming Ave, Singapore.

New to aquariums and fishes. I have a fiberglass tank on the ground, left behind by the previous owner. Not very successful in getting a stable tank yet. Still experimenting, and hoping to learn from the rest of the forum members.

    Regards,
    SC

    Hi SC,

    Welcome to AQ!

It's a bit hard to enjoy your fishes from the top if they are not fishes like goldfishes, kois, stingrays. You might want to consider a fish tank that so that you can view your fishes more easily.

    Cheers,

p.s. how did you find out about AQ anyway?
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

    Hi Benny,

Yes, I have the same thoughts about the tank on the ground. I have booked a Rio 180 which will be delivered soon, after I've added some electrical points.

I was googling for java moss, and came across AQ. Google had links to other forums most of which were not in SG. I definately wanted SG based forum as the conditions would be the same as what I would experience and also wanted to be able to buy from fellow members.

Currently, I am not having any luck with java moss. My tank is not stabilised yet. I've succummed to the beginner's disease of overfeeding, resulting in algae bloom. The algae prob is now under control. About once a mth, one fish will get droopsy... sigh.

    SC
PS. I cant see to see the thumbnails in the msgs. I'm using Firefox.
