i put my CO2 outlet into my filter inlet (liberty 100)... so that the CO2 can dissolve while it passes through the filtration... does anybody do this as well?

i'm using a small 1.25ft tank so its difficult and not nice to put more hardware into the tank...

my DIY mixture also starts bubbling about 1 day later...
also read somewhere before that yeast should be kept in the fridge...

Ummm... given the turbulence and open nature of the Liberty, I would think that a lot of CO2 is lost.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

thanks for the advice.. i've kept the turbulence at the lowest to minimise the loss at the surface... pH is kept at 6.8 with my current setup...

will consider putting in more gadgets for bigger tanks in future...

for this type of CO2 collector, does it have to be placed deep at the bottom of the tank to be effective?

wonder if another similiar setup might be as effective:
    1. cut base of bottle (medicine bottle?)
    2. connect CO2 outlet tube to bottle's cap
    3. hold bottle upright in tank with suction cup attached at end of tube

    any comments/advice would be appreciated...

Your setup is just the same as the pics I've posted.
    It should work.

U can try placing the collector near the filter area where the water movement is stronger, and thus more CO2 will be dissolved into the water for the plants uptake.
