    It depends on what kind of plants you wish to plant. Your setup has only 1.8W/g. Recommended is usually 2~3 W/g. So looks like you may have to settle with low light plants. Try increasing more so you have more plant selection.

    i just got myself a 2x9w PL lights.... and it fitted into the lighthood![]
    now i have more than 3W/G is that okay? i noticed some brown leaves at the base of a plant(duno the name) and its top leaves are spread open very wide. will the brown leaves turn green again? or should i cut them off?

    u shld remove those dead leaves, reduce decaying
