    Like to know if any Mg inside Dr Mallick''s Lushgro Micros liquid fertilizer? Or do I have to supplement it in the form of MgSO4.

    Peter,

    looks like no magnesium. (from juggler's post).

    Morph,

    Easiest way is to call Dr Mallick shop up, or wait a bit for his webby to go up again... dunno why it went down.

    Hi, my JBL ferropol lists exactly the same ingredients as the micro formula, so whats the difference btwn the two? and does that mean dosage for ferropol is grossly over limit?

    Wow, all these chemistry term too cheem for me.
    Anyone can help to match these to Dennerle's product?
    I'm using mostly Dennerle's product and planning to cut cost, thinking of switching to Dr M stuffs.

    Dennerle E15 Iron -->
    Dennerle S7 trace element -->
    Dennerle Gold 7 -->
    JBL Ferro liquid fert -->

    But JBL does not name magnesium as one of its macros...maybe not a detailed description or like what you listed (hoppinghippo) ..it does not contain any magnesium (same as Dr Mallick's Lushgro Micros?) which may later lead to magnesium deficiency.. Vinz...or juggler care to comment on this?

    Hippo,

    Why don't you post a list of the contents of JBL ferropol? Also, even if they contain the same nutrients as Dr M's Lushgrow Micro, its most likely that the concentrations are different.

    Peter,

    From Jugglers earlier post, Dr M's lushgrow micro also has no magnesium (Mg). It only has manganese (Mn)... probably cuz Mg is a Macro nutrient.

    JBL ferropol is say to be a complete fertilizer for aquatic plants...there are some ingredient contents on the bottle label...dunno whether its the full content or not though...anybody had any idea? No presence of magnesium and calcium were mentioned...kinda worrying as some of my plants are showing magnesium and calcium deficiency.

    I have following this tread of discussions for a while now and it got me really interested in trying this Dr Malick's product. According to the LFS list of this forum, this Dr Malick supposed to have 3 'branches'. I called all the 3 on Sunday noon and only the one at Joan Road responded. The person picking up my call said he know nothing about K2SO4 and instead he said the company deals with mosquito-control chemical..

    So can anyone advise where is the retail shop and the operating hours? And is there really a Dr or is this merely a sales-gimmicks (that works, of course with real product)?

    Thanks.

    the safest bet would be at crawford lane. call Mr. Fong at 6294-6578, he the one at the 'mama' shop. i believe the one at joan road is a nursery and may have set aside a small corner to retail the chemicals.

    dr mallick does exist and he's a consultant horticulturist. happened to meet him at the recent garden show at dempsey road.

    He used to teach at NUS. Not sure if he still does. Search the web for Dr Mallick if you want to know more.
    Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
    Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
    A woman, without her man, is nothing.
    A woman: without her, man is nothing.

    The last time I checked at Joan Road, The nursery stopped stocking up Dr Mallick's stuff already. So best bet is to go to the mama-shop
