Anyone using Dr Mallick's Lushgro Micros for their tanks?
What are the trace elements in it?
If I'm using the Lushgro aqua, do I still need to put this trace element in?
Thx

Koah Fong,
Dr Mallick has 2 separate mixtures on sale.
Lushgro is his brand name.
There's
1) Aqua for aquarium, which is listed in the thread that you have posted,
2) micros - trace element supplement. Ingredients not listed. So I'm wondering if they are the same stuff and also if there will be an overdose if both are used

Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
i'm still wondering why they're called macro and micro nutrients
does it imply they're needed in higher amounts, ie ppm doses to be called macro and sub ppm to be termed micro? or issit based on the chemical composition of the plant tissue? either way that would mean you'd need more of it, no? and phosphate is a macronutrient, yah?
someone in the know pls enlighten [:]
Yup. Macros are needed in larger quantities. Macros are: N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S.
BC
Just found out tt these nutrients are sold in seperate bottles, each 1kg and abt $7-$9. [:]
Depending on how much you dose, each time only use abt a quater of a teaspoon each ...
That means these bottles we buy can last 2+ years for a 4 feet!! [:0]
Think my plants will have a few generations even before the bottles are half way through.. []
Anyone wana buy together and share?
Cos this is realy A LOT of nutrients [:0]
The key to success is patience. If that fails, screw the guy in front of you!!

Hi ZeroCool,
It's me Au. I went to your house last Sat and bought some plants from you remember?
I've just bought Potassium Sulfate & Magnesium Sulpate. Will be going to get the Iron and trace elements (liquid form) from Dr Mallick. Care to sure?
For Potassium & Magnesium Sulpate each bottle is 1KG at $7.60 each.
Iron is also at 1KG at $8.00 per bottle.
As for the trace elements, it's in liquid form and I think it's also $8 (will have to check and confirm).
Anyone care to share please let me know.
My contact is 97969624.
Au SL
Me not too sure too...[:]----------------

OK. I emailed Dr M and got the below contents for LUSHGro MICROS:
The composition of LUSHGro MICROS is as follows:

Manganese 30.61 g/litre
Boron 2940 mg/litre
Zinc 3780 mg/litre
Copper 1660 mg/litre
Molybdenum 2840 mg/litre
Cobalt traces
Vitamins traces
Very concentrated - so use only in drops.
The dosage is @ one drop per TEN litres of water.
[There's a misprint on the bottle stating "add one drop per litre of water"]
