Thanks for giving us an overview of the place I just can't wait to pop by and have a look.
Popped by Biotope today after work to collect my tank.
Commissioned one a couple weeks back in preparation for a new nano setup for my wife, specifically requesting thin, clear silicone as she does not like the usual thick black kind used.
Boy am I a pleased customer.
Tank is very well made.
Edges are clean and the silicon work is very fine.
You can barely see the silicon.
Anyway back to Biotope:
The new place is pretty much in the style of the original shop.
Similar kind of shop layout and design. Air-conditioned as always and its brighter and roomier now!
Fauna-wise, the small schooling fishes (rasboras, boraras, tetras etc) are all already in stock, plus the usual otos, pencilfish and some cories, plecos.
Apistos are not in yet. Only a few at present. Saw a tank of juvenile cacas though.
Hardware and accessories-wise, stocks are also not yet fully in.
They will be stocking the Sera & SeaChem range of products, as well as Ferka ferts.
Also spotted some nice-looking ADA-type driftwoods there but stock is also limited at the moment.
The stocks (both fauna & equipment/accessories) will be arriving in the last week of August. So look out for it.
Couldn't resist buying a small pack of GeX decoration sand they were selling there. First time I saw their range of decoration sand being sold in Singapore and just had to get it!
Biotope will be bringing in certain of the GeX range of products so I will be sure to look out for any that arrives.
Now I only got to figure out where am I going to fit that unplanned sand into the scape.
Hehe guess thats the end of my brief "field report". Anymore "advertising" and I might as well work for them!

haha yeah i always enjoyed the air conditioning and relatively bright lightings in the old shop. gives a very feel-good kind of atmosphere. pleasant environment with beautiful fishes and plants. what else can you ask for?
excited to pop by real soon once the new shipment is in!
hmmm did you say cories and plecos??? here i come!!!
-clint- ~apisto keepers unite!~
haha i said SOME cories and plecos.
unfortunately i'm not a cory and pleco man so i don't have a clue if they are common or rare species that i saw
maybe next time i should add a disclaimer that no responsibility will be taken for any disappointment caused by being misled by my words
heh yeah till after the shipment arrives would be better for a visit.
im gonna pop in again end august to check out any new stuffs
Hold on to the horse if you are going for cories and plecos.
The cories there as far as I remember are C.trilineatus and albino C.paleatus.
For more exotic ones, you got to wait for awhile till new shipments arrive. Hope it is soon...
Edit: Maybe you guys can add a wish list to suggest to the shop cories which you might want to get.

Visited Biotope at its new place today.
As lee1224 posted there was the usual assortment of boraras. Also available were the old shipments of apistos.
Saw Apistogramma bitaeniata 'paracuba',Apistogramma trifasciata, Apistogramma martini, Apistogramma sp masken and others.Just to name the few i remember. Some left with singles i think.
Also the tank of cacatuoides. Pretty decent quality for the price. The new place seems to be pretty much the same layout as the old one but with more tanks i believe. Just can't wait for the new shipment.
how about corydoras sterbais?

I THINK i have seen those. Cannot confirm though.
They have stock for C.sterbai. Also in stock are C.habrosus.
Thanks to Thio for providing me a cosy toilet when I had an untimely upset stomach while browsing the store. Had nice talk too. Definitely will visit often.
I'm back!
thanks alot for the info!
