    Hi..need to ask.How do you add those nick/text below the photos that you took? Is there a software which allows a simple editing of the nick on the photo and allow it to be applied to the rest of the photos?

    example...(sorry for using the photo)

    either manually adding them in, or create a template and edit them.

    I prefer to use a script to extract the EXIF information from the photo and enter the scientific name for the species

    You can try http://www.faststone.org/

    If I remember correctly, Faststone Photo Resizer can extract the EXIF info and than put it on the photo. There is a batch feature which will basically process all photos in a certain folder automatically. You can choose the location of the info (i.e. center, left, right, top, bottom).

    If it's not Resizer than it's the Photo Viewer.
