Will Siamese Algae Eater harm Crystal Red Shrimps??

SAEs are aggressive so it's a bad idea to keep them with shrimp of any sort. Thay also grow quite big and are lazy after a while and they don't bother to eat algae. Keep Otos instead, they are shrimp safe and will continue to eat algae.

Another good and safe companion for shrimp are any of the dwarf cory species, they make good clean up crew for uneaten food. Take care not to treat them like scavengers cause they are not, they must be fed and not just rely on leftover food for them.

These two fish that I reccommend are also safe for baby shrimp to be around so no worries about them being eaten.
