    Hello,

My name is Taylor Rhodes and I have been an Aquarist for two years now. My main interest is fish native to my Province, but in my Aquariums I specialize in Asian Fish. I am an oddball and betta fish fanatic!

I look forward to recieving and sharing knowledge on this forum.

    Cheers,
    Taylor

    Hi Taylor,

    Welcome to the forum.

How did you manage to find this forum?

    Are you into wild bettas?

    Cheers

Thanks for the welcome. I come by the links page on ikanpemburu.com. Yes I am very interested in Wild Type Bettas, though I have never kept Bettas captured from the wild, I am going to order Wild Strain Bettas from Atison Phumchoosri of Thailand.

I recently bought males of both Betta pi and B. pugnax species, both jumped out the back of the tank, though it seemed to be covered completely!

Wild bettas are known to be jumpers. The tank needs to be covered and weight down.

I have kept different type of wild bettas before. But I am still a novice in keeping them. Very interesting fishes to keep.

And oxygen proof! Mesh would be better.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
