Elmike,
I can only conclude that the old JavaScript is still cahced in your PC. You will need to clear your web browser's cache. Please see post #10 in this thread.
No, copying to your desktop will not work.
What do you mean by edit mode? For your reference:
Quick Reply - use the reply text box at the bottom of the page.
Quick Edit - you click the Edit button and they put the editor inside your post. I.e. only change is inside your post. The rest of the page remain the same.
Normal Edit - (a) when you click Edit button, the whole page changes and shows you the editing page, or (b) during Quick Edit, you click the Go Advance button.
Normal Reply - you click the Reply Post button below the last post on the page and the whole page changes and shows you the editing page.
So for each of these, is there a smiley pane? Normal Edit and Normal Reply also have a drop down pane, in addition to the panel of smileys on the right of the text box.
Also, are the drop down menus on the menu bar working for you? I.e. the Search menu and the Quick Links menu.
Will appreciate that you answer the questions I posted (#24) above your last post in this thread, too... you might have missed that since it appears before your last post.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Shrimp999,
Looks like your still being served old pages from a cache outside your control. Other than in the local cache of the web browser, pages can be cached in servers in the Internet. Often these would be servers that belong to the ISP or to servers that serve as the gateway between your company LAN and the Internet.
I do not think there is anything you can do, unless you can track down the errant server, kidnap the server administrator and force him/her to clean his cache.

No it's not your PC. The fault lies with one or more servers in the route from your PC to our server. Some server out there is still caching our old files.
Upgrade to the new PC and you will still face the same problem.
Just out of curiosity, which web browser and version are you using?

Because your codes are wrong. See below.

Same here, a victim of ISP cache problem.
I'm so late behind for a few weeks... it is not just your PC I tell you because when I use different connection (dial up) I will be able to access AQ.
...SIGH... can do nothing about this!
Well, you're at post 203 at this moment. I remembered you were at 202 the last time you posted in this thread. Could you just keep track of your next few posts. If you see no increase in post count where there should have been one, report here again. Please provide the thread or post link. Thanks.
