I ever saw my cherry attack the malayan shrimp. Its like digging the yellow stuff on the head. After that, the malayan shrimp just jump and died.
I've seen a few such incidnts happened.

Yamatos can be very aggressive towards other shrimps. Any problems like grabbing food or attacking shrimps that have moulted?

Non reddish does not mean yamato. Could be wild cherries. How long have the shrimplet been in ur tank? If they are already adult, do they have black spots around their cheeks?

    Brackish water = semi-salty water
Black water is to replicate the conditions of the Amazons where firsh like Cardinals live

Blue - unknown, could be anything (read this, http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...highlight=blue)

Look up the intersections and tell us if they will cross breed.

The tiger shrimps will not breed with Sakuras for sure. However when both of them died, either of them will clear one up.

i believe those shrimp you mentioned are all neocardina, thus they will cross breed and you may end up with wild their wild form.
