As above. One thing for sure is the price. Any physical features to look out for ?

Yamatos are translucent with red/brown dashed lines running along their sides, from head to tail.

Malayan are brown, opaque or almost opaque and have distinct a white/light brown stripe running down its back.

Feeder shrimp are colourless and have no distinct markings. Usually very cheap and kept in tubs or pre-packed and not in display tanks.

Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Another not so accurate way would be by price... Yamatos at their cheapest probably goo for $0.60-1.20 each depending where you go. Malayan shrimp are much cheaper at like 10-15 cents or less each.

The best way however is still to know what you're looking for. Yamatos are pretty distinct, once you know what they look like, you can't miss em.
