    hwchoy,

does those shrimps needs cold water too?
At least I know the malayan shrimps needs cooler water or the attrition rate will be high.

With water temp approximately at 26-29, survival of the malayan shrimps are better. But dunno about the cherry shrimps...

I find the cherry red and taiwan shrimp more survivable than malayan and tiger. My taiwan shrimp also breeding in my hairgrass.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

FLORENCE, capital of the region of Tuscany, has a population of around half a million inhabitants, spreads on the banks of the Arno, between the Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian seas, almost in the middle of the Italian peninsula. It is a city which bustles with industry and craft, commerce and culture, art and science.

small greenish shrimp (look somewhat like tiger without the stripe and orange shade) and apparently do not need cooler water. Chan selling around 30¢ each. Carries huge black eggs.

hey people... ya'll think its advisable to keep 20 2cm diamond tetras in my 2feet tank with about 60+++ malayan shrimps and i'm adding 30+ red cherry + other assorted shrimps? the shrimps would not breed then right?
