Hi there, I am planning to restarting 2ft x 1 x 1 tank main features on DW with cave like structures. Planning to have a tank without CO2, short lighting period of about 4-6hrs (I will be getting a 2x36w pl light, mostly thinking of switching 1 on only), low or no fertilizer dosing and planing to use GEX soil (red pack)/magic soil with root monster (if there is rooting plants).

Can any bro out there recommend some foreground and background plant that can survive these conditions. Your advise is greatly appreciated.

    Fauna that i have:
    2x Clown loach
    2x SAE
    5x Guppy

Fauna that i plan to have after setup:
    Armour shrimp
    a pair Apisto
    maybe shrimps

Thanks for all advise given, planning in setting up this week.

A 2 x 1 x 1 is too small for the fish you have and the ones you plan to get. Also, the shrimps will get eaten. For flora, ferns, mosses and crypts.
