    I went to too many places to explore last month.....& I'm not going to disclose those locations, so.....just posting some images taken by me in Sarawak:


    First is reptile.....too bad, i couldn't find any snakes to photograph in this dry season.

    A river in southern Sarawak. Here is the habitat for angle-headed lizard, Gonocephalus grandis:

    The river where I found Cryptocoryne :





    Crypt. ferruginea & Crypt. longicauda are growing in the riverbank, under the shade of the forest. There is no Crypt. growing in the muddy river. Beware of man-eating crocodile if you stay very close to this kind of river:

    Have you ever encountered any dangerous animals on your trips? Crocodiles, tigers, etc...?

    It mostly rest on the tree...unless u "kacau" it & it'll jump into the river & swim...

    Photos of wild orchids taken in September 2007:

    Most of the orchids below are found growing on the trees in the swamp or very close to the river.

    Flower of Coelogyne sp. (about 2cm across)





    This Coelogyne sp. was found growing on a tree near a blackwater stream in the Kerangas forest.
