    Hi again,

This is my low tech (non co2) nano tank (A4 size).

    Any comments ??

Still need to get some background plants and sakura shrimps. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

So sorry abt quality of the pic due to handphone, the plants look "yellow".

    HI,
looks okay except the plant on driftwood is facing down.
Should it be positioned facing the light source instead?

I think you did a nice job at the right side. Why not buy more plants to fill up the tank? Right now it looks too sparse.

I just planted the jap hairgrass for 2 days.
But I don't seems to see them curl down. Why?

Or lfs uncle gave me the normal hairgrass instead ...

Thanks .. My tank is actually very shallow (about 20cm), so light penetration should have no problem.

But anyway, I shifted the wood face up slightly to let more light on it.

I don't think any aquatic plants will show anything after just 2 days of planting. Be patient. It needs time to get used to your water condition. Furthermore your tank is low tech and you need 10 times more patience to see any progess
