    Hi All,

I found some egg like things in my tank,
it's a small while ball ,enclosed by a membrane.
They are found inside my flame moss.

The residents are 4 Otos,4 Lamp eyes and 7 Galaxies plus 10 cherry shrimps.

Seen them quote often, but never see any small fries yet,
at fist i used to throw them away as i thought it was some sort of mould.

Who has been fooling around.. hope to see some of them make it..

Sorry if this has been posted in the wrong section.

Most likely to be snail eggs.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

not added any plants hence no pressence of any snails anywhere.

i have seen snails eggs before, they are in a clump of membrane and sticking to the glass tank.

Mine was found in the flame moss with each egg like thingy in a membrance of it's own.

Shrimps does not seems intersted in in and neither are the other residents.

I guess i'll just have to monitor.

    Thank you benny

a good possibility would be galaxi eggs, don't shrimps carry there eggs, and otto's lay theirs in a vertical position and lampeyes usually spawn in the upper regions of the tank in floating plants, good luck with them bud.

    cheers

it's most likely snail eggs. i had a similar looking thing in my previous tank, and they turned out to be snail eggs upon further inspection. different breeds of snails have different looking eggs if i'm not mistaken...

hopefully not snail eggs as i've not added any new plants in the tank.

It's been running for the past 9 months with no sight of any snails.
Btw, i would be easy to spot snails as it's only a 1.5 ft tank.

Plus the tank has no snail history in the past.
I saw otos hovering near them.
They are scattered in quite a few places.

I wonder should i isolate the white egg sacs looking things.

anyway, would be observing if there is any additional small fries in the tank or not.

Thank you for the answers guys.
