I went to Clementi and saw this green algae grown as a ball. Looks lovely. But has anyone grown this form of green algae before? would it be harmful to a planted aquarium - i.e. algae bloom?

    Thanks!

I don't think the Alga Ball will cause Alga bloom unless your tank condition is really out of control.

OMG,if Tom Barr is right, i think we have to tell all Taiwanese aquarists to amend it to Cladophora or Pithophora.
