    hi all

this is my first ever planted tank.....
water still very cloudy, set up only yesterday....
just a simple setup with no CO2 and a overhead filter...

just like to ask if my HC is a tad too tall out of the soil?
ive planted them individually and sticking them into the soil... but it seems to want to grow out of the soil...

    thanks guys!

The big stone is nice and unique. However the whole set up lacks focus point. The stone tied with moss don't really match well with the whole set up, just my personal opinion.
You didn't mention the power of the lighting, the HC need sufficient light to grow well.

there is a lot of dust particles on your substrate and plants, maybe you want to siphon off the dusts to prevent algae growth.

Suggest that you add some background plant or maybe driftwood besides the rock. The contrast of rock and its surrounding plants looks quite unnatural at this moment.
    Just my personal opinion.
