Hi Simon, very nice tank! This is what I always want to do to my 3 footer. Guess have to wait for June school holiday to redo my tank decor.
Just a few questions about your tank:

    a) Whats your maintanence schedule? Water changing, filter cleaning etc.

    b) Do u plant all the cryptocorynes (wendii?) or they spread by themselves?

    c) Noticed some green stuff on your driftwood. Green algae?

    d) Also noticed some floating plant roots. What are they?

    e) U got java moss growing at the backdrop. How long do they grow to this stage? I'm thinking of trying that.

water change every 6-7days at 25-30%, no fertilization, filter cleaning every 6mths and of coz, adhoc on picking on dead leaves

    b) Do u plant all the cryptocorynes (wendii?) or they spread by themselves?
mostly planted by me, I was thinking of rearranging the left side, kinda messy looking to me... they r spreading, see new shoots emerging from the gravel

    c) Noticed some green stuff on your driftwood. Green algae?
yes [], the only algae eaters i have is Otos and SAE.. every effort to introduce yamato or malayan shrimps always end up in my congo tetra's stomach

    d) Also noticed some floating plant roots. What are they?
those r frogbit from david, he is still giving them away, if u want any

    e) U got java moss growing at the backdrop. How long do they grow to this stage? I'm thinking of trying that.
yup, the tank is almost 1 yr liao... pretty slow, but u do see the growth and one more thing... they r the hardiest thing to die from.. previously, when i started out, almost die off but they sprung back to life and now, even now they have spreaded above the water line

    Simon,

How dost thou attach thy corkbark to thy tank?
(ok, i'm feeling silly. Work is driving me up the wall.) []
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
