Even so.. it really already looks real good... when i saw the thumbnail..i was like WAH!! who is using controlled algae growth so damn well...
wonder how did they controll the algae growth? the algae somehow does not spread in to the white sand.
what is that plant on the middle of the rock at right hand site?

The bogwood looks like the Alien in the movie 'Alien'I agree that it is a beautiful tank. The bogwood is the main focus point and it certainly has character..
It looks like green dust algae to me. Benny, you had a closer look, was it GDA? I wonder how come the white sand and tank glass are not infested with green dust algae as this sort of GDA doesnt pick and choose a place to hang on. It usually does a blanket coverage including the water column and glass.

well the glass tank can be clean easily, but not the white sand. Keeping it out from white would be a challenge.
Maybe once the desire look achived, then use UV to kill the spore and prevent it to spread???![]()

It is truly "Alien" look alike bogwood!! The white sand looks a bit too "new" though.
are you suggesting that the white sand was previously cover by algae and then they replace it with new one?![]()
