yamato prawns will take care of it, as it did to mine
Hi,
Noticed that there is a layer of jelly like stuff growing on the driftwood. Taken out and cleaned twice, dipped in bleach solution, still no cure.
Any ways or fishes that attacked this?
Next question is, i have changed all my substrate and 100% water change, but using back the old filter ( and media). Will the water cycle faster?
Thanks again, AQ is really informative.

Yeah, i thought i saw them too during last visit. But somehow i couldn't find them yesterday. I got some cherry shrimps instead.
For information, the shrimps do eat those white fungus. So far, after one day, my fungus gone by half. But i got no clue whether they are toxic to the shrimps.
They're not toxic to the shrimps. The shrimps just love it and they can help you take care of algae too later.
