The tripod is sold in a specially tailored leather case, meant to enrich and load the elegance of the whole package.
Using the most durable and strongest materials are used, such as titanium and carbon fibre. The 90th Anniversary Titanium Traveler is three times more rigid and the maximum pay load is doubled compared to that of the standard Traveler.
The 90th Anniversary Titanium Traveler(GT90TT) has a lifetime unlimited warranty.

90th!!! wow.. so old...
i was drooling at the picture until i read the mind numbing price...
certainly a premo item - brand, material and workmanship...
the finishing looks fantastic, well worth the 90th anniversary.
just can't imagine what they'll do for the 100th anniversary!

I finally uploaded an avatar and Cupid is dead!!!
The tripod looks really good, can't wait to see the real one - anybody wants to show off his/her new tripod to the forumers?

Mama!
Why would anyone buy something like that? It's too beautiful to use!!!
I'd keep it in a glass class of course-from Benny on my 90th Birthday? Coming soon- i'm already 89++

Stan,
The versatility and light weight makes this a very good flash holder for aquarium/aquatic photography.
Oh... an keeping it in a glass case would be a waste right? I think you meant using it for a totally radical and unconventional aquascape? 4 ft X 2 ft X 2 ft glass tank setup should be just nice to hold this baby. Titanium, Carbon Fibre and Stainless steel should be able to withstand the low pH right?

ROTFL...
Radical?
I can only afford to be radically cheap.

Honestly,
I think this item seems to be selling pretty well in Malaysia right? At least they have orders for it.

If someone were to give me something like that. I will just go around the jungle with it and take all sorts of nonsense. Putting it into mud, stream water, etc. Hahaha!! I guess that'll put it in good use.

wahh... more than half the price of a D3.... my wife will use it to hit my head....
I am into Plecos now...

I think I can buy a 85 f1.4 or a D300 and have change.
The only point i see in buying a collector's edition is to put it in a glass case and wait for the price to go up. [not to mention get the fancy serial number]

So did you get one?
And for the price I hope it comes with a matching ballhead!

yes it does come with a matching ballhead, additionally engrave your name on the tripod. What more to ask for a tripod?
So you getting one too?
Cheers!
