    I am looking for a plant with the above name.
    Not sure if it's the correct name.

    I heard that it requires lots of CO2 and strong lighting.
    Very interested to get.

    There are different types which I cannot name them:

    "mini-feather" 迷你羽毛

    "Red Sun-grass" 紅太陽草

    "Thin leaves Sun-grass" 細葉太陽草

    "XX Sun-grass" 菊精太陽草 (no translation for this...)

    *Do pardon my "direct-translation" for thr Chinese names

    Appreciates if anyone can tell me which LFS have any/some/all of them.

    Cheers!

    Tai Yang Cao seems to be Tonina Sp Belem to me.
    You can try Colourful Aquarium (beside NA) at opposite Thomson Medical Centre, the shop do have some exotic plant varieties.

    Cheers!

    "Thin leaves Sun-grass" 細葉太陽草 I have, but the bottom part is wilting on me as my lighting not strong enough.
    I got it at Yishun 618 That Aquarium shop around to look these plants.

    "Red Sun-grass" 紅太陽草 seems to be like Ludwigia Sp. i bought some of them quite awhile back and they are sold at per stalk basis.

    Saw some of these specimens at lfs Colourful aquarium.

    Hi Bro,

    I think colorful lfs may have most of the plant that you are looking for. I recently bought a plant something like the "迷你羽毛" but i'm not very sure too. The upper part of the plant are a bit reddish.

    I also bought 紅太陽草 and 榖精太陽草 from there too.

    Btw, since you are looking for plants in chinese name, maybe you can consider buying the chinese magazine series from AZOO that some of the lfs is selling at around $15. I can find some of the plants that you are looking for in Book 71 "Aquatic Plant IV". I just bought it recently for reference too.

    Thanks bro,

    I fail my mandarin...
    That's why I cannot translate them....
    I saw this plant through some links from a Taiwan site, so hope someone can 'enlighten' me with the "Ang Mo" names. So that I can google them to check for level of keeping such plant...

    Will take note of the book you recommended.
    Cheers,

    Redmond

    Bro, no problem..

    Anyway, I don't think anyone can just translate it from the chinese wording directly, which is the reason why I bought the book for reference. They have the picture of each plants, the chinese name and the scientific name as well for a better reference.

    From the book:

    紅太陽草 = Ludwigia sp.
    榖精太陽 = Tonina sp.
    細葉太陽草 = Tonina sp.
    迷你羽毛 = can't find in this book. There are Book 1 to Book 5 for Plants.

    I just bought the 'Ku Chin Sun Grass' from colorful today.
    But I guess it's not the actual name.

    Here's what I've found online.

    Will try it out.

    Here's the Tonina SP I've bought:
