    That is a tadpole. You probably had frogs breeding in your aquarium, or frogspawn in your plants.

    I have no idea what species of frog/toad it might be... I'd say it's best to remove it early, as many tadpoles might be algae grazers at first, but eventually start including some animal matter in their diets as they get older. If you have very small shrimps or fishes, they might get harassed or nibbled to death by the tadpole. You could always raise it separately and observe its development.

    Hi guys,

    I'm having a nematodes and hydra infestation in my shrimp tank now. Spotted them 2 days ago. Will putting in oto's solve the problem?

    Anyone know of any shrimp friendly fish that will eat away the pests?

    dun think otto helps... can try cory but doubt will eat away the pests but are shrimps friendly.

    hello. any idea what this is? sticks on the wall but moves with the water movement. jelly looking like thingy with a white spot (as far as the eye can see).
    they're mostly on the lower part of the shrimp tank.

    If its round and looks like a transparent looking dot it may be a seed shrimp. If its long and look elastic it might be planaria

    The picture is quite poor and more like watercolor painting
    Based on your description, I suspect it may be hydras.
