Hi,
Not sure anyone know this? As strong as flatworm, break into half both sides can survive and grow.
Speed is very fast, very difficult to catch

hi guys, i'm having the same problem as bro kenng. my substrate is infested by these leggy worms with weird patterns on their back
my 100 gallon tank:
- 23 blood parrots
- 2 high-fin plecostomus
my 10 gallon shrimp tank:
- sakura, cherry, malaya, orange, snowball, tiger, bamboo
- 3 otocinclus, 3 assassin snails
Tough luck bro. My experience is they seems to come from the plants or the substrate and they grow really fast.
When I change soil for my shrimp tank, easily found at least 10 of them in just a small 40cm tank.
if i am not wrong this is called bristleworms. usually found in the sea. may attack ur live stocks. >.<
Anyone know how to eliminate them totally?
Will this no-planaria helps.

try not to dose chemical in your tank it works but there is always some residue left behind. If you have the pocket go look into Greenchapter webby they have this nature trap and bait. But i think currently out of stock. GOod luck
I starting to have the pest in my tank too....sigh
Guys, this 'bristleworms' thingie is something new to me. I love zapping bugs and if you can catch a couple of them as my guinea pigs, I'd have a go at it.

Ehh guys I know this is an old thread, but I found a weird alien in my shrimp tank today.. Unable to take a pic from my iPhone because it is really too small, around 0.5 -1 cm in length.
It look like a flatten ghost shrimp, which swims with it's eyes (I suppose you can see 2 dots thingy) facing downwards, and a sharp thin thing facing upwards.. It wriggles abit of it's sharp thing when disturb.. It really look like a small flatten ghost shrimp with big eye swimming with it's tail facing upwards...
Been awhile since i last kept shrimps/ fishes, please give me your kind guidance!
Alex, nab the sucker!!! Sounds very interesting!!

I would like to add that after doing some experiment with them, they are damn hardy! Could not kill it!
