Fish does not have ears, right?
But there may feel vibration, so place your tanks on some form of shock absorper and cover the top from falling dirts
Hi guys,
my balcony is going to undergo some drilling to change the floor base.
currently that's where all my tanks of discus are residing at.
i'm thinking of either placing the tanks temporarily in the living room, but am afraid the drilling might just scare them to death... is that possible??
how can i reduce the impact of the sound and trembling generated from the drilling to keep my discus stable??
thanks!! please advice...thanks agian!

My 2 fishtanks just went through 2 weeks of renovation and all inhabitants are fine. It really depends on what kind of renovation works you are doing. For mine, the major part of the renovation is hacking down a wall which is some distance away so should not pose a problem.Did not do any floor works. Anyway the drilling should be done in 1 day time or most 2.
Some form of shock absorber should be good enough andmore important cover the tanks, the dust get into everywhere.
