Question on Dwarf Cichlid fries

I managed to get my borelli and tri. to have fries... They are more than a month old... Was wondering when the fries can stop feeding on the Nobil fluid and start earting BW?

u can feed them daphina or brineshrimp first.. for bw, u have to wait till the worm can fit in their mouth

1mth plus still cannot feed BW , you have to feed them bigger till they are about 3-4mths old before you can introduce cut BW to them, after introducing cut bw , you can slowly feed them whole BW. You will see increase in growth when u feed BW.

Simon: Are you recommending the frozen type of daphnias and brineshrimps?
I have been feeding the liquid food for about 3 weeks to the A. cacatuoides frys. Not much growth leh.
What food will make them grow faster?

BS can hatch ourselves by getting the eggs, very troublesome.. While Dapnia unless you wan to cultivate them, it's almost impossible to get daily supply of them.

Usually to safe all this trouble i'll feed liquid food to boost the micro-organisms in the water for the fry to feed on. i use about 1bottle of liquid every other wk.

Are you referring to the nobil liquid food?
