Bought this fairy shrimp eggs from the recent MO.
Just open my satchet and saw that there are 3 packets. I think 2 of them are the fairy shrimp eggs but the 3rd packet has a label "food" on it. Is this 3rd packet food for the fairy shrimps? Can anyone help? Thanks alot.

    Hi cwtan12,

Thanks alot. I think it's food for the fairy shrimps. Wondering is it a must to feed the fairies?

Instructions state that I should mix contents with 0.5litres of water but is it the whole contents?

Anyone tried them already? Any reviews?

Before feeding how are you going to separate the eggs and the shrimps?

    Hi Chee Wei,
sorry bad communication for me... this is the food for use growing your fairy shrimp to big size, just mix water 0.5 liter and feed them small 2 time per day and must keep into a refrigerator after use, also the baby shrimp can live after hatching 3 days without food and no need for feed them if you can use be finished,

This is the reply from the seller. Hope it helps.
    Cheers,
    Chee Wei

    Cacatoides,

This is what I was told but I have never tried it myself.

Unhatched eggs can be reused to hatch. Just dry them and add water again. You will see those unhatched eggs from 1st attempt hatch in 2nd attempt.

To breed them, you need mud or soil. You need adult fairy shrimps in the tank. After that, you will need to remove all the water and dry the soil. When the soil is completely dried, add water and you will see a new generation of fairy shrimps.
    Cheers,
    Chee Wei

hey guys...my eggs are not hatching, what should I do?

    Here are some possible reasons:
    1) I put the small glass tank used to hatch these eggs in the toilet,do they require sunlight to hatch?
2)I covered the top of the tank for fear that mosquitoes might breed in the tank. Do these eggs need an open atmosphere to hatch? please help me!
