    hi everyone i need recommendation of aquatic plants for my betta tank that does not require substrate to thrive and does not need any lighting (beside sunlight). can anyone of you recommend me any plants?

    Another option could be java moss, provide good hiding places for frys.

    Eh if you like some floating plants and you live near Yishun i've quite a lot of hornswort and amazon frogbits too. Can drop me a pm.

    I have a beta splender in a mini planted tank.
    See photo below.
    Plants: MM, hornwort, bacopa, pygamy sword

    I put the tank near the window which gets a stronger dose of sunlights in the late afternoon.

    cabomba is also good some shops sell lose form not the ones in the plastic casing
