these BBA are clung onto the lower part (near the roots) of the moss, i have a few corys but proof no avail to the invasion of the BBA on my java moss. The Corys dun really comsume the BBA for food even though i never feed them. I've tried rubbing the BBA off the java moss leaves but in the end pulling out lot of java moss from the driftwood. The java moss have quite a number of emergents (very long java moss protuding), does these emergents cause the cory's inabilty to eat the BBA ? or should i prune them short like from 2 inchs to 3/4 inchs ? there are also some hair aglae tried pulling them out be they still keep on growing, i do freqent water changes like 30% water change every wk. Does CO2 + strong light cause the boom of these algaes ? i have a filter system filtering the tank.
hope someone can help me the lower part of the java moss seems to be rotting.
