    Apistogramma cacatuoides "Santoario"

    Hi

Anyone has any idea or experience with the above mentioned apisto?
It was listed in an export list and commands a high price, almost 5 times the price of a regular Ap. Cacatuoides....It is stated as a wild specimen too

I believe you already have the experience with them. Its Ap. cacatuoides. Just that this is in the wild form found in a new locality. There was another thread started by wiki regarding this, check it out.

Thanks for the heads-up Eugene, I totally forgot that wiki has started a thread on this species sometime back.
The price looks more reasonable now. But it looks too plain to lay my hands on it

    Pardon my monkey mind:
What would be the result of inter-breeding
    1) Ap. Cacatuoids "Santaorio" &
    2) Ap. Cacatuoides "Triple Red"

I've merged the threads since they are of the same topic. Thanks genes!

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

    My pleasure .

Eman, Care to PM me how much are they now? Bred or wild? They should breed easily since they are Ap. cacatuoides. So the reason for the drop in price.
