Visited one of Jakarta attraction over the weekend.

One of the surprise was a free ranging lesser bird of paradise in their aviary.



Its a really nice place where you can get really close to the animals.

They have quite a number of white tigers as well from India.

Taman Safari Indonesia is situated within serene and cool natural hillside of Mega Mendung area, halfway to the peak of popular resort/villa getaway of Puncak. A nice place to spend your day with fresh, cool nature and (some) free-roaming animals.

It would take a bit more than one hour of car ride from Jakarta via toll highway towards Ciawi-Puncak exit. The way could be crowded upon long weekends (school holidays, weekends with public holiday and end/early of month), so be aware and best to avoid such times as travel time will significantly more than doubled while the place itself becomes less enjoyable.
