My caving trip to explore a cave which got a waterfall inside has been postponed at the last minute. So, I decided to drive to remote area of Padawan to survey the area - to find the next mountain climbing spot.
In this trip, me & my cousin found a lot of beautiful pitcher plants along the country road.
The most amazing species is Nepenthes reinwardtiana. This is the first time that I found it so near to the road, in low altitude (less than 100 feet)!!!
The "eye spots" of N. reinwardtiana at this site is very very small.
Another interesting plant is a leaf-less plant (only flower) or saprophytic flowering plant found in very dark jungle floor. The flower is very tiny; less than 0.5cm across!!! So, I tried reverse photography to shoot that tiny flower (reverse the lens & photograph it manually).
A limestone hill that I haven't climb before.
Storage hut & hill paddy field.
First time found N. reinwardtiana in very low altitude, at the roadside.
The "eye spots" are very tiny.

Michael,
Those are some nice pictures. Look at those plants and the giant caterpillar. And your reverse lens photo, nice touch.
