    Hi

Anyone tried tying riccia with fishing line instead of holding by fishing net? Possible to do it?

Possible, provided yours is riccia lawn, meaning the riccia is grown in a complete piece. If your is in loose form, then the only way is to use net to hold them down and tie up with fishing line.

i tried before using cotton thread. But it must be in a lawn. But very soon you will need to re-tied them as they will grow too fast and starts to fall apart.

it is possible provided u tie them many rounds. if u only tie a few times, it has a chance to float out after some time. thats why some use net to save the trouble.
