Yes that's exactly my sentiments.
And my wish would be to keep them in a Wabi Kusa styled setup.
Each crypt in a mount of its own with mosses.
Wonder if that is possible?
i have been reading and reading and reading about crypts... so far.
only venture, other than the usual wendetii, i have only tried C. bullosa.
so far, other than not dying on me, its not done much...
i am mostly interested in the ones with bullated leaves!!!
its mostly the fear of having them melt on me that stops me from trying them.

It's NOT "Chee lick", NOT "Chee Chee Licks"!!! Cichlids is pronounced as "Sick Lids"!!!!!
I've always liked them, but have had absolutely no success with them. Sigh...
Cheers,

Solid la gerald,
Where are your aponogetifolia and usteriana robbed from benny the last time?
Apart from Dennerle and Zoologica (from me?), i haven't have chance to look at green flame, Kaliebe; Green Pepper and the other exotics.
All of my echinodorus are in separate gardens now.
When free for kopi infront of your tank?

lorba,
coffee powder, hair, egg shells, vegetable bits are commonly used for composting.
coffee powder in particular is essentially a seed.
hence high quality biomass for compost - value to weight ratio.
i have used it for composting and whatever you put in it grows well.
before it is composted it is acidic but porbably loses that after it turns to compost proper.
