I am looking for a moss that give a dense look, require less trimming and short height. Which of the above moss suit my requirement?

Currently, I have flame moss and taiwan moss (hope I am right, got it free when brought some shrimps), both are growing out of control. I like US fissdden, but just one moss it will look very plain and boring.

Please give your comment if you have kept above moss before. Thanks!

    James & Eddy.

    Thanks for your recommendation!

I like weeping moss, and I have a moss wall of it. It look great as a back drop.

I used to have Christmas moss, but it look very similar to Taiwan moss and grow as fast as it. Not my taste...

I am deciding between the 3 types of moss only. I own a 2 footer, big moss like Christmas, Taiwan and Java will make the tank look even smaller and messy.

peacock and spiky moss are the same thing aren't they? it is one of the faster growing mosses too, faster than Christmas i believe, so if Christmas grows too fast for you, spiky will not suit your requirements

That will be Moss Ball (Cladophora aegagropila). Break it up and tie it to a DW or stone and it wil begin to spread after awhile. Short green fluff, quite nice.
