Found lots of green algae growing together with riccia after weeks of negligence. I want to keep the algae. Whats the best medium to let it grow on: driftwood or pebbles?

Jason,
Is it green moss or green algae?
Anyway, covering stones/rocks will be better. It gives a natural aquatic look.
juz my opinion.
Confirmed green algae, they even grow from my java moss and other plants. Haven't changed water for past one month, guess N & P level probably shoot beyond 100ppm now.[]
there this guy in my office, his java moss has so much green algae growing on it that it resembles the pipe cleaner from your rifle cleaning kit! [:]
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.
