I had success on crypts, but not failed miserably on others. 80% of the crypts i got melted on me during conversion. List of the crypts i once had are in my signature. Upgrading to 4 ft using ADA amazonia as base, hopefully i will have more success.

    Reporting Sir!

    Submersed:
    These are alive:
Wendtii (green and brown), Petchii, Balansae, Undulata, Parva, x Willisii, Ciliata (or so I'm told)
    These were killed by me:
    Affinis, Tonkinensis

The biggest problem I faced is getting the right ID for these plants because most pictures available on the web are of the emersed form.

I have C. Axelrodi, bought from LFS
I was sceptical at first because each plantlet seems to be growing from runners.
LFS told me it was C. Axelrodi and showed me the picture, looks similar.
Planted them in my tank, those under shade are growing slowly while those under light are melting slowly.
Not sure if they will be sending out runners too.
Maybe Heiko Bleher can shed more light into this.
    Hope my picture appears.
