    Hi,

I saw some pictures on Hemianthus callitrichoides. Looks nice and interesting.
Anyone willing to spare me some to start off or sell me some? PM me if you have.
    Do I need Co2? I am having a 2ft tank w/o Co2.

    Any suggestion, advise. Thank you!

    Cheers!

    C02 - Yes.

Lighting - Yes. High light requirement.

Substrate - I failed on lapis sand but was successful on ada aquasoil.

Planting - take a small chunk(around 5 cent or 10 cent coin) and plant them.

    Spares- Try the market place.

the requirement has been clear lay out by marble, so best to follow.

the real challenge is getting them rooted and the best method is still growing them in emersed form for a weeks till they flourish before adding water to the tank.

moving this to plant talk section.

Do a search on this topic, there were loads of information.

I seen success with this plant on both ADA soil and lapis sand, point to note is these plants have rather shallow roots, so in the initial growth critters like yamatos etc. tends to uproot them.
    ...I love rubies too ...

    Hi Stilllife,

Use toothpicks made into '^' to keep it in the soil. It's a good idea not to have cories or any big fish[discus] around that like to sift sand. Yamatos may make a meal out of it.
