Well, that's technology, always making life more simpler - or is it more complicated. If I'm not wrong Nikon has GPS which after adding it will automatically puts the GPS information into your EXIF tag. But seriously I never found the need for it.

I do not like the idea that you need to take out the memmory card and put it into device to geotagging it. The Nikon build it GPS make more sense.
Oh... I think it works for JPEG. No mention about RAW files. I knew there had to be something that spoil it.
