    1)Can any one tell me how to trim the b.japonica
    2)How come my b.japonica seems to turn copper in colour instead of stayin green?

    1) blyxa propagates plantlets growing off the side near the roots of the parent plants. If you want to thin your "bush" of blyxa, you can use tweezers to ease off the daughter plants and remove them. As for trimming of the leaves, I've never done it before, but I suppose it can be done via snipping it near the base where it branches out from the main stem.

    2) the copper colouration is normal in blyxa when it is grown in high light. it takes on golden/copper hues when the lighting is high
