I have always wonder would it be beneficial to add vitamin into the water column of our Shrimp tank.
Will it enhance the grow, colour , breeding frequency and general health of the shrimps? Or will it be detrimental instead due to the sensitive nature of shrimps.
Very tempted to try some. Wonder if the effect would be significant enough to justify the additional money spen and the risk of harming the shrimp if any.
Hope those who had tried, share their experience and recomend some vitamin product if they really works.
    Thanks

think some of the food like hikari algae wafers consist of vitamins in them already.

this topic is interesting, however you might not know how much vitamins to add and whether over dosage is detrimental.

Hmmm.... I didn't collect statistic on these. For breeding, sometime, they comes in season, so really hard to see if by adding vitamins has any influence.

I remember the being very impressed by the effect of the famed Dennerle S7 on the conditioning and colour of my plant and fishes alike . Wonder if it will have the same amazing effect on my CRS knowing that fishes and invertebrates are a very different cup of tea after all ?

Is V-max the same as S7? I'm using S7 and notice my fishes are especially active and colorful shortly after S7 is added and remain vibrant and happy. Not sure the effect on shrimp though (so small, how to tell?? )

Tips on searching in google: use the keywords "V-Maxx site:www.dennerle.de" since you know the product is V-Maxx and website is www.dennerle.de.

You should be able to find this, http://www.dennerle.de/HG12UG07.htm

Use google language tool or babelfish to translate from German to English.

    Hi there bro Rokerites,

I've not added 'vitamins' but i've been adding minerals in the form of Mosura Mineral plus and i've found that my CRS seems to be moulting more successfully and so far -touch wood- my pregnant shrimps all seem to stay alive = ] In the past, Pregnant shrimps seem to have a higher tendency to die suddenly..

    Hope it helps = ]
