    Hi folks,

I just bought this mountain shrimp (1pc), this one seems has hairy front arms for feeding or picking food. It has strange character unlike yamatos or malaya shrimps, it doesnt move at all just sit at the moss eating quietly.

Can anybody give feedback about this mountain shrimp?Should i remove it from my 4ft planted tank? Let you guys know.... i dont feel good about this shrimp.
    cheers

they are not algea eaters.. they are filter feeder.. they stay at a spot with high flow rate passing them.. so that they can filter the water..

    yeah!
that no wonder that mountain shrimp sitting in front of outlet flow and just open its web arms like a whale open its baleen mouth!

Anyway, is this shrimp any use for our tank?

this is a good shrimp if your tank has many loose particles (food) that it will help to pick up.. otherwise it is not a algae worker if that's what you plan to have him for..
