I have not kept this beautiful fish before, but you need to cover your tank securely when keeping all kinds of wild bettas.

Both B. Channoides and B. Albimarginata look alike. Still unable to tell the difference. If you can take care of B. Channoides, should not be difficult to take care of B. Albimarginata. No special care or requirement for B. Albimarginata.

    Good luck.
My greatest interest in fish hobby is to breed them.

    Thanks for your valuable advice

I wonder what substate you guys use for your wild betta tanks? I've seen some people with bare bottom tanks, but how do they low the ph without using acidic-nature substrate?

    Good luck.
They can be recognized easily by the dorsal finnage. B. albimarginata have a black fringe on their dorsal fin while those of the B. channoides are fully red.
Also, the red colouration of the B. albimarginata is not as intense as compared to the B. channoides. B. albimarginata is also bigger is size then the B. channoides when fully grown.

i'll try to take better pictures for comparison when i'm free.
