Hi folks, new in this forum. Started keeping some tetras 2 years back but just a 2ft plain tank with internal filter and some plants. Recently got addicted to the beautiful aqua plants and hence invested in CO2 last month Dec.

    My tank companions are:
    - 50 neon tetras
    - 4 SAE
    - 2 Otos
    - 1 clown loach
    - 1 cherry barb
    - 3 dunno what fish (orange-pink colour, looks like guppies but small tails..)
    - Couple of snails, yamotos and cherry shrimps (just bought them last Sat)

Have previously bought ghost shrimps (to kick-start keeping shrimps) but they would slowly disappear after a few weeks.. I'm guessing the loach had them but unable to find evidence. Is it possible to keep clown loach and shrimps together? Or some others in my tank is the culprit?

    Thanks for comments.

    - Spgan.

    Welcome to the forum spgan!

I have no experience with clown loaches but from your list of fauna its my main suspect too.
You might want to try a post for answers in the fauna section.
Also, you may want to keep the yamoto's and cherries in a breeding trap first.
They can become quite expensive feeders (i.e. fish food)...
