    hi experts,

i am very new to apisto. Can any one help me identify what type is this pair?

i bought it on friday at C328 (at the counter table). They are eating well with bloodworms but going to start on weekday diet of pellets (tetrabits).
the tank is 1 feet cube (set up about a month ago) and a lot of hiding places. They seems also not very aggressive, loves the corners where they hide and in myself make cave....and i have 5 boraras & snails & Otos.

also if i intend to get more apistogramma is it recomended? i want those colourful ones to enhance my tanks but not to go into breeding yet

    please comments

    the pairs

    1 feet tank

    thank you

cacas are quite friendly to dither fish, but with their own kind, it's war.
Being territorial, they wouldn't tolerate other apitos well

    Hi,
A one foot cube is quite full with just 5 rasboras and the apistogramma pair, i would not suggest adding anything else to this tank..i think you should set another tank up for a pair of apistogramma if you wish to expand..
Currently keeping many wild betta species and other anabantoids.

Thank you mez, i guess what you meant is that with the couple of apisto and boraras they might need the space to swim and not fight for place. i guess i will just stick to this then. Another setup is okay with me but too bad i do not have any more space for another tank
